Jim Phillips walks toward his motorcycle with a roll of duct on Wednesday, outside Open Road Honda in Mandan. Phillips and his wife Donna are from Athens Georgia and are participating in the Paris-Decatur Motorcycle Rally. Phillips planed to use the duct tape to fix a broken speaker cover. The rally is like a giant scavenger hunt that covers the U.S., said organizer Eddie James. Forty people are entered in the 7 day rally that starts and ends in Decatur, Illinois. The Mandan Honda dealership was the first official stop Wednesday morning. Rally members next stop is Albuquerque New Mexico. by 8 p.m. Thursday. Its a rally not a race James also said.
