Mark Gonzalez, of Bismarck, pedals through the misty rain Wednesday morning as he travels east on Highway 10 near Steele as he starts his week long journey to Northfield, Mn. Gonzalez is headed 550 miles to Carlton College for the 25th anniversary of his graduating class. His college roomate, Jim Haughn, is also traveling by bike from northeast Ohio to the college. While bicycling to the event, the two and other alumni are promoting a sustainability fund to reduce greenhouse gas emissions at the college.
