Clifford The Big Red Dog children's book character welcomes Becky Griffin, top, and pre-school children Andra Pfister, Lily Griffin, Lexis Orn and Bryn Pfister as they enter the annual Catch the Reading Bug event held Friday at the state Capitol grounds in Bismarck. The day long event brought guest readers, children's theatre performances, as well as booths with subjects to spike the imagination of the children and encourage reading. Registration for summer reading programs in both Bismarck and Morton Mandan public libraries are currently underway.
