Scott Klara of the department of energy'sresearch and development office testified on the benefits of carbon capture on Wednesday morning at the field hearing of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee in the student union of Bismarck State College. Attending the hearing were Montana senator John Tester and Senator Byron Dorgan. Sen. Tester and Sen.Dorganheld the hearing to examine carbon capture and storage technology and its role in the future of the energy industry in Montana and North Dakota.
