Approximately 2,000 rubber duck meander through the canal water at Raging Rivers Waterpark in Mandan as the Bismarck Figure Skating Club held its annual Duck Race to raise funds for the Capital Ice Chips synchronized skating team on Saturday. Helping monitor the mass of raffle rubber ducks are skaters Selena Morris, Halsey Thompson, Kristen Bortke, Alexis Zeis, Landy Williams and Karly Knudson. The money raised at the event will go to defray expenses for this winter's regional competition and costumes costs. Over ,000 in cash and prizes were awarded at the event.
