A meeting between Qwest employees and those from a construction company discuss plans to bury communications cables that are exposed along the bank of the Heart River channel through southwest Mandan on 8-26 morning. The cables, near the Mandan Municipal Golf Course and the highway 6 bridge, have been exposed since last spring's flooding eroded the river's banks. A Qwest employee said all information regarding the situation would have to be relayed via a Qwest spokesperson.
