Karl Holle signals the okay as he waits in the New Salem High School library with his classmates before the graduation ceremony held in the school gym last Sunday. Karl's parents, Catherine and Charlie, weren't sure if he could sit through the ceremony. "We didn't know if we were going through with it, Catherine Holle said. "Is it even really worth it for something he doesn't want to do." But Karl said he wanted to attend so the school staff worked with him to prepare him for the event and even had supports in place in case he had difficulty.
