Baptist Home resident Alice Vik, center, waits with Deb Larson, left, for their turn to board the Lewis and Clark Riverboat at the Port of Bismarck along the Missouri River on Wednesday afternoon. Approximately 25 residents of the Baptist Home along with 15 guests and chaperones boarded the riverboat for an afternoon cruise said Michelle Witty, the assistant activity director at the home. "They're excited and they had to eat lunch early," said Witty "and some even wanted to skip lunch and get going." She said Bob Eastgate of Eastgate Funeral Service paid for 17 residents' tickets but the idea for the outing came from Baptist Home activity director Karen Driessen.
